Lined paper t-shirt

Another pinterest find!

It was super easy and really fun!
On pinterest, the tutorial tells you to use acrylic paint and a fabric medium, but I chose to buy fabric markers instead and they worked fine for me.

You will need:
A white tee shirt (or onesie)
Masking tape
Cardboard
Red and blue fabric markers

From here it's really easy.
1. Put a piece of cardboard in between the front and back of your tee or onesie so that the marker doesn't bleed through.
2. Start right under the armpit with a strip of masking tape going horizontally.
3. Leave a space a little less than 1/4" and put down another strip of masking tape. Continue in this fashion all the way down the shirt.
4. If you're doing a tee, only color every other space from the top down. If you're doing a onesie, color in every space with blue.*
5. Once you've colored the blue lines, wait for it to dry. When it's dry, peel off the tape.
6. Now for the red line. I put mine about an inch or so from the neck, but wish I had done it right on the neck edge, further in. You decide how you want it. Just make sure it's straight down. Use two strips of masking tape a little less than 1/4" apart. Color red.

Let dry and you're done!

*I like the splotchy look so I didn't color perfectly, but you do it to your taste.
