Do you know how many times I have said, "I will never do a wedding?" Neither do I. Because I've said it many, many times. Never say "never," right?
WEDDING | The Wedding Bridals, Ceremony, and Reception of Jamison and Audrey 10.10.20
November 20, 2020I just went back and checked my recent blog posts and, NOPE! I never announced that we have MOVED from Utah to Arizona! I'll go ahead and announce that now...
WE HAVE MOVED TO ARIZONA!!!
BIRTH PHOTOGRAPHY | THE HOME WATER BIRTH OF LUCA
October 13, 2020It was two days before our move from Utah to Arizona. I had prayed and crossed my fingers that Jordan would go into labor, but it didn't look like it was going to happen. My backup photographers were in place for after I was gone and it broke my heart to give my mothers to them. I was especially sad to let go of this mother because she was a home-birth mama, and there is something really incredible about births like that. I was sorry I wouldn't get to be a part of it... until I got the call!
COVID-19 BIRTH SESSION | WELCOME HOME ROSEMARY JUNE
September 12, 2020It goes without saying that COVID-19 has worked a number on the world. Andrew and I had planned on celebrating our 10-year anniversary with a trip to Germany in June. NOPE! And don't even get me started on moving states during a pandemic.
Birth Photography | Iris Love
January 13, 2020"Just three weeks before my due date with baby number three, my videographer cancelled. I was feeling nervous and stressed to find someone else on such short notice. I reached out to Susan and immediately she worked me into her busy schedule. She made my husband and I feel that our birth of our baby girl was very important to her and that she couldn't wait to capture the special moment. That is exactly what she did!
One of the biggest questions for beginner birth photographers is, "how do I shoot a c-section?" I've seen this question on Facebook group pages and been asked it by friends interested in what I do.
