I can happily say that Chelsea and I fulfilled almost everything on our list yesterday. We didn't get to watch the Great Pumpkin in the morning because it wasn't on netflix, I didn't end up doing any sewing because I decided to take the day off, and we had a late lunch so I kind of forgot about dinner until we started trick-or-treating (oops!). We still had a great time, though! Unfortunately, Drew was working all day and then had a soccer game that night so we had to celebrate without him.
1) Write a blog post.
2) Prepare a spoooooky breakfast for me and Chelsea.
Hope yours was as good as ours! Keep it real.

3) Watch "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" or "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow"
Watch "A Charlie Brown Celebration."
4) Get ready and go grocery shopping for some last-minute Halloween treat items
5) Visit the local "pumpkin patch" (it's not exactly a pumpkin patch, but it will do)
6) Get some sewing done and catch up on some blogs during naptime
7) Rake some leaves outside and jump in them (if they're not wet or too cold)
8) Prepare and eat our ghoulish dinner Whoops!
9) Go trunk-or-treating and trick-or-treating
10) Come home to make some terrifyingly delicious Halloween treats with Aunt Kara Eat Chelsea's Halloween candy.
11) Put Chelsea to bed and watch a REALLY scary movie (which probably means we'll watch "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" again, or "Ernest Scared Stupid")
Hope yours was as good as ours! Keep it real.
LOOOOOVE THIS POST!! xoxo
ReplyDeleteI love the things you did get to do for Halloween : ) Especially the one where you got to dress your little girl up in the cutest fox costume! She is so adorable. Holiday traditions are my favorite - I can't wait to develop my own with my kids some day.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! Seriously your daughter kissing the baby goat is the cutest thing I have ever seen!!!!
