LESSONS I'VE LEARNED SINCE BECOMING A MOM: LESSON 1

October 13, 2013
It wasn't long after Chelsea was born that I learned that people didn't come by and stick around for my razor sharp political advice or Andrew's bubbly personality. Oh no. Once you have a baby, nobody comes by for you anymore. It's all about the babe. And it doesn't stop at visits. No. I'm talking skyping, phone calls, photos... the works.
In any other situation, this would be annoying, like that one, awesome best friend in High School that all the boys love because she's infuriatingly gorgeous and charming. Yeah, it's a little different when it's your kid. Because if you were to call yourself, she's all you'd want to hear about, too.

What could be better than Nutella on toast and some Oatmeal in the morning? She is her father's daughter, and her Opa's enkelin!

Here's to being a mom. Keep it real out there, moms.
