It's Friday, friends! And we have some snow on the ground. It's Utah. I'll be making myself some Butterbeer in a bit (you should too!)
I've been so excited to share these photos with you! It was such a perfect day! I know the sun can make taking photos really difficult sometimes, but it can also give you great shadows and with fall and winter coming in, we gotta soak up as much of it as we can, while we can (like I said, there's snow on the ground out there).

And one more thing. This weekend is a very special weekend. Every first weekend of August and April, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints gather together for a world-wide broadcast. There are four sessions, each lasting two hours. During these sessions, we get to hear from our church leaders, apostles, and the prophet. They teach us, inspire us, comfort us, and sometimes reprove us (we all need a kick in the pants every now-and-again). The best part is that we get to hear from our living-day prophet, Thomas S. Monson. He is the only one on Earth who receives revelation for the entire world. He speaks for the Lord, delivering His messages to us, His children. It may seem hard to believe that Heavenly Father still speaks to us, His children, through a prophet, but I know that it is true, and you can know, too. Just turn on your TV or listen on the radio at 10AM and 2PM tomorrow and again on Sunday. If you listen with an open heart, I guarantee that you will feel a certain sense of peace from what you are hearing. That peace is the spirit testifying to you that what you hear is good, and that it is true. Have faith, and allow the joy of the gospel into your life. You will never be the same, and whatever trial you may be struggling with will get better. I know this to be true because I have experienced it time and time again, but don't take my word for it! Find out for yourself. Come and listen to a prophet's voice.
