Let's take a short break from Barrett's newborn photo shoot to revisit this blue floral maxi dress. Remember?
I love clothes that you can wear when you're pregnant and when you're not, don't you?
I made this dress a few days before the baby shower I had for Barrett out of fabric I found in the clearance bin at Hancock. These kinds of dresses normally cost upwards of $60 and I probably spent about $20. And that, my friends, is why you all need to learn how to sew if you don't already.
Unfortunately, I don't have a tutorial for this one at the moment. I keep saying I'm going to figure out how to illustrate tutorials (because sometimes I don't have time to document every single step as I sew) and I swear, I will, because I learned how to draft flutter sleeves from making this dress and that's knowledge I want to share.
So, I promise that I will figure out how to illustrate tutorials and share. Until then, thanks for keeping up with me and my interests! Leave a comment and tell me what you think!
