Alexa's 3-year photos

Alexa entered her third year with a lot of spunk and a lot of independence! We went to Cherry Hill (a nearby water park) that night for her birthday and she wouldn't even let me hold her hand climbing up the stairs. Where has my little baby gone?!

I still love seeing the surprised looks on people's faces when they ask Alexa a question and get a lot more in reply than they expected! It's fun to see her interact with other people and have little conversations with them.

She says the funniest things and has the greatest imagination! I think my favorite thing she's said recently, referring to raisins, was "I don't like dead grapes!" Then, at dinner tonight, she told us all about how Batman got her and took her to his cave. I don't know where she gets all this from!

She likes pizza and popsicles, but not when Daddy calls her his little Princess, Baby Face, Angel Cakes. She's always tagging-along with Chelsea, but can entertain herself with her own. She plays with Barrett, too, but that doesn't ever seem to last for very long because her "helping" is always interpreted as something else by Barrett.

She got a Princess Castle Tent for her birthday and an "I Spy" book and those are definitely her favorite gifts! The I Spy Book is particularly helpful during Sacrament Meeting on Sundays.

We love our verbose, sensitive, helpful, mischievous child! She cracks us up every day and is so loved by everyone in our family. Video interview to come, but probably not for a little while (there's quite a bit of footage from this interview!)
