Walter the Whale

March 29, 2016
Or Winifred, if you want it to be a girl. I found a tutorial on Pinterest to make this whale and had an old pair of jeans to use up so I went for it! The tutorial isn't real precise (granted, the blogger is Finnish), lots of free-handing and eyeballing, but I was still able to work it out. I had a lot of fun making it, and all three of my kids love it too!

Just as a quick side-note, if you're going to make this whale, hand-stitch the eyes at the end (like she tells you to). That way they end up level. Haha!

I posted a pic on my personal instagram and Facebook about a week ago and a lot of people liked it! If I can figure it out, I'll make a pattern and share it! Let me know what you think by leaving a comment!

Thanks for stopping by!

    1. Thank you! I'm sure you could do it! Find an old pair of jeans that you don't care about or need and just try it! That way, if it doesn't work out, you really haven't lost anything, but you'll have gained experience and confidence!
